12 Months of Kindness: Supporting St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center

As part of our 12 Months of Kindness campaign, we are continuing our commitment to supporting meaningful causes throughout our community. For Month 6, we focused on helping animals in need by organizing a pet supply drive for St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center in Madison, NJ.

Throughout the month of June, our team collected a variety of much-needed items for the shelter, including dog food, cat food, treats, toys, cat litter, and paper towels. These donations help support the daily care of animals awaiting adoption and provide resources that allow St. Hubert’s to continue serving pets and families throughout New Jersey.

While collecting supplies was an important part of the initiative, we also had the opportunity to visit St. Hubert’s and learn more about the incredible impact the organization has on the community. During our visit, Director Sarah Sangree generously provided our team with a tour of the facility and shared more about the shelter’s mission, programs, and ongoing efforts to support animals in need.

During our tour, one of the things that stood out most was the thoughtful way St. Hubert's showcases every animal in its care. In addition to meeting some of the dogs and cats currently at the shelter, we noticed signs and photos displayed throughout the facility featuring animals living in foster homes while they wait for their forever families. It was a wonderful reminder that St. Hubert's care extends beyond the walls of the shelter, with foster volunteers providing loving temporary homes until each pet is ready for adoption.

Supporting St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center

For more than 85 years, St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center has been dedicated to helping animals regardless of species, size, or temperament. Their mission extends far beyond adoption services, offering a wide range of programs that strengthen the bond between pets and their families.

St. Hubert’s supports local communities through pet food banks, vaccine clinics, behavior and training programs, and other resources designed to help pets remain with the families who love them. Their people-focused approach recognizes that supporting animals also means supporting the individuals and families who care for them.

Through their partnership with the Humane Rescue Alliance, St. Hubert’s has expanded its impact even further. Together, they serve tens of thousands of animals each year through adoption services, community programs, rescue efforts, and advocacy work that promotes animal welfare throughout the region.

Learning about the organization's commitment to both animals and people made this month's initiative especially meaningful for our team.

Buddy's Boutique

While donation drives like ours provide much-needed support, there are also ways to help St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center throughout the year. Located inside St. Hubert's Madison facility, Buddy's Boutique offers pet food, treats, toys, accessories, and other supplies that have been carefully selected based on recommendations from St. Hubert's behavior and training team.

What makes Buddy's Boutique especially meaningful is that 100% of the proceeds benefit St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center, directly supporting the shelter animals in their care. Every purchase helps provide food, medical care, enrichment, and other essential resources for homeless pets while allowing pet owners to shop for high-quality products for their own companions.

Whether you're looking for everyday pet essentials or a special treat for your furry family member, shopping at Buddy's Boutique is an easy way to make a lasting impact. You can feel good knowing that every purchase supports St. Hubert's mission of caring for animals in need while strengthening the programs that serve pets and families throughout our community.

The Importance of Supporting Animal Welfare

Animal shelters play a vital role in communities across the country. They provide care, medical attention, shelter, and second chances for animals who may otherwise have nowhere to go. Organizations like St. Hubert’s not only care for homeless pets but also work proactively to keep families together by providing resources and support during difficult times.

Many people don't realize how essential donated supplies are to a shelter's daily operations. Items such as pet food, treats, litter, toys, and cleaning supplies help ensure animals remain healthy, comfortable, and enriched while waiting for their forever homes.

By supporting organizations like St. Hubert’s, communities can help make a direct and meaningful difference in the lives of animals in need.

The 12 Months of Kindness Campaign: Community Outreach in Morris County, NJ

Our 12 Months of Kindness Campaign is a yearlong initiative dedicated to community outreach in Morris County, NJ. Each month, we select a different cause that reflects a need within our local community and provides an opportunity to give back.

As a local home remodeling company, we are fortunate to serve homeowners throughout Northern New Jersey. This initiative allows us to extend that commitment beyond remodeling projects and into the communities where we live and work.

By partnering with local organizations and supporting meaningful causes, we hope to inspire others to join us in making a positive impact throughout the year.

The Power of Giving Back

One of the most rewarding aspects of this initiative is seeing how a collection of small contributions can come together to create meaningful support for an organization. Every bag of food, toy, treat, and supply donated during our pet drive will help St. Hubert’s continue its mission of caring for animals and supporting families.

This month's initiative served as a reminder that kindness can take many forms. Helping a neighbor, supporting a local nonprofit, or donating supplies to animals in need, are great acts of generosity that have the power to make a difference.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed to our June pet drive and helped make Month 6 of our 12 Months of Kindness campaign a success.

Looking Ahead

As we move into the second half of our 12 Months of Kindness campaign, we remain committed to supporting organizations and causes that strengthen our community.

Month 6 allowed us to support an organization that provides compassion, care, and hope to thousands of animals and families each year. We are thankful to St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center, Director Sarah Sangree, and their dedicated team for welcoming us and sharing more about their important work.

We look forward to continuing our journey of kindness and finding new ways to make a positive impact throughout the rest of the year.
