As part of our 12 Months of Kindness campaign, JMC Design Build Remodel is proud to support Morristown Meals on Wheels, an organization that has been providing nutritious, home-delivered meals to residents throughout the greater Morristown, NJ area since 1973. Their services help individuals who are unable to shop for groceries or prepare meals on their own, allowing them to remain independent while receiving the nourishment they need.
For more than 50 years, Meals on Wheels America has worked to strengthen communities by supporting local providers that serve seniors across the country. As the organization explains, its vision is "An America where all seniors live nourished lives with independence and dignity," and its mission is "To empower local community programs to improve the health and quality of life of the seniors they serve so that no one is left hungry or isolated." Our Own Way of Giving Back
This month, we're also introducing a new way for our clients to support the community.
One question we often hear before a kitchen remodel is, "What should we do with all the food in our pantry?" Cleaning out a pantry is one of those tasks that's easy to put off, especially when preparing for a renovation.
To make the process easier, JMC will gladly collect any unopened, non-perishable food items our kitchen remodeling clients would like to donate. We'll deliver those donations to a local food pantry on their behalf, helping reduce waste while supporting families in our community.
Before demolition begins, we'll provide donation bags that clients can fill at their own pace. Whether it's just a few canned goods or several bags of pantry items, every donation makes a difference. Participation is completely optional, but it's a simple way to clear out your kitchen before construction while giving back to those who need it most.

At first glance, home remodeling and supporting Meals on Wheels may not seem connected. But to us, they share the same purpose: improving people's everyday lives.
